Alex Reid scored the solitary goal to help Wealdstone defeat fellow National League strugglers Boston 1-0, allowing them to climb out of the relegation zone at the expense of their opponents.
In the early stages, Wealdstone goalkeeper Dante Baptiste made a crucial save from Jai Rowe’s powerful shot. However, it was Wealdstone who broke the deadlock in the 20th minute, as Reid advanced forward and calmly placed the ball into the bottom corner of the net.
Despite efforts from Boston's Jordan Richards with a long-range shot going over the bar, Wealdstone had an opportunity to double their advantage. Max Kretzschmar's attempt was thwarted by a save from Cameron Gregory.
Baptiste produced another fine save to deny Jimmy Knowles' effort from a difficult angle. Boston also came close to equalizing when Jacob Hazel narrowly missed the target with a curled shot. Towards the end of the game, Reid missed a chance to extend Wealdstone's lead by heading Kretzschmar's free-kick off target.
