Jodi Jones scores twice as Notts County come from behind to defeat Bromley

Notts County made a remarkable comeback after trailing by two goals to defeat Bromley 4-2 and claim the top spot in League Two.

The match began with a flurry of goals, as three were scored in the opening 13 minutes.

Bromley quickly found the back of the net twice, with Michael Cheek (4) converting Idris Odutayo’s cross and Ben Thompson adding another past goalkeeper Alex Bass.

Jodi Jones then narrowed the gap with a penalty just before the 15-minute mark.

The second half followed a similar intense pace like the first.

Despite initial saves from Bromley keeper Grant Smith and Odutayo, Dan Crowley eventually scored with a deflected shot.

Alassana Jatta later extended the lead for County, finishing off a move that he initiated by netting a low shot past Smith from Crowley’s pass.

As Bromley pressed forward, Byron Webster's volley was saved by Bass, but it was Jones who sealed the victory with a 20-yard strike in the final minute.
