Elgin City's unbeaten record in the William Hill League Two continued as defender Jack Murray scored the equalizer in a 1-1 draw against Spartans.
Spartans started strongly with Lyall Booth missing a chance in the 10th minute, while Elgin's Brian Cameron tested Spartans' goalkeeper Blair Carswell before half-time at Borough Briggs.
Visitors' Danny Denholm had a close opportunity, and Blair Henderson's shot narrowly missed just before the end of the first half.
The deadlock broke in the 75th minute when Spartans' substitute Hamish Ritchie scored from long range to give his team the lead.
However, Elgin quickly responded as Murray headed in the equalizer from Booth's delivery. Despite Spartans' late efforts to secure a victory, the match ended without any further goals.
