Kwame Poku's goal secures draw for Peterborough against Lincoln

Kwame Poku scored a great goal in the second half to secure a 1-1 draw for Peterborough against an in-form Lincoln team.

Lincoln took the lead in the 33rd minute through Ben House, who scored his third goal of the season as they aimed for their fourth win in five matches. However, Poku equalized for Peterborough with a goal in the 65th minute.

Initially, the home team looked more threatening, with Poku and Hector Kyprianou both seeing their shots blocked.

Despite Peterborough's early pressure, Lincoln managed to score first with a well-executed play that ended with House finding the net after a pass from Dom Jefferies.

Although Jed Steer made an important save to deny House a second goal, Poku took advantage of his opportunity by cutting inside from the right and scoring with a powerful left-footed shot.

Peterborough had a chance to take the lead shortly after Poku's goal, but Wickens saved Bradley Ihionvien's attempt to secure a point for Lincoln.
