Rakish Bingham helped new Ebbsfleet manager Harry Watling start off on a good note by leading the team to their first win of the season after nine games.
Early in the match, Anthony Mancini and Joe Grey had scoring chances for the away team, while Ben Chapman and Lewis Page created threats for the home team.
Ebbsfleet took the lead just before half-time when Bingham, a former player of the opposing team, scored the first goal in five games for his side.
Despite efforts from Dan Dodds to equalize for Darren Sarll’s team early in the second half and a missed opportunity from striker Mani Dieseruvwe towards the end of the game, Ebbsfleet managed to hold on to a 1-0 victory.
Chapman and Greg Cundle had opportunities to extend Ebbsfleet’s lead but the team secured the win with a single goal.
