Wealdstone secures late draw against Forest Green with brace from Callum McFarlane

Callum McFarlane played a crucial role in saving Wealdstone as they fought back to secure a 2-2 draw against Forest Green in the National League.

Forest Green's Christian Doidge scored an early goal with a header in the second minute, and Adam May extended their lead with a long-range strike just four minutes later.

Wealdstone's goalkeeper Archie Matthews was injured and had to be carried off on a stretcher after 22 minutes. McFarlane scored just before halftime to bring his team back into the game.

It wasn't until the final minute of the match that McFarlane netted again to ensure Wealdstone earned a valuable point from the game.
