In a National League match, Halifax secured a 3-1 victory against Eastleigh with goals from Billy Waters, Will Smith, and Adam Alimi-Adetoro.
Billy Waters opened the scoring for Halifax by tapping in Adam Senior's shot at the far post after 27 minutes.
Halifax extended their lead just before half-time as Will Smith netted a header from Florent Hoti's delivery.
Despite Eastleigh's efforts to come back in the second half, Adam Alimi-Adetoro furthered Halifax's lead by converting Adan George's cross in the 61st minute, making it 3-0.
Eastleigh's Richard Brindley managed to pull one back with eight minutes left on the clock, but it was not enough to stage a comeback.
