Lauren James scored twice as England clinched a commanding 4-0 win against the Netherlands in Zurich to stay in the race for the European Championship title.
Following a defeat to France in their first match of the tournament, the Lionesses needed a victory to avoid an early elimination from the group stage. With Prince William watching from the stands at Stadion Letzigrund, James opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a fantastic goal.
Assisted by Alessia Russo, Georgia Stanway extended England's lead just before halftime, and James added a third goal in the 60th minute.
Ella Toone, the only new face in the starting lineup, found the back of the net seven minutes later, securing a fourth goal for England. This result puts them in a strong position to advance to the quarter-finals, with their final group stage match against tournament debutants Wales.
Toone replaced Beth Mead in the starting lineup, while James was shifted to a wider position.
England also made a change in defense, with Alex Greenwood starting at left-back and Jess Carter moving to a central role.
England started brightly, with Lauren Hemp creating opportunities with crosses that James narrowly missed connecting with.
Hannah Hampton played a key role in the opening goal, providing a precise long pass to Russo, who set up James for a brilliant strike from outside the box.
England continued their attacking display, and Stanway doubled the lead with a well-placed shot before halftime.
Despite having a goal disallowed by VAR early in the second half, England remained persistent, with James scoring her second goal of the match in the 60th minute.
Toone then added another goal, assisted by Russo, further solidifying England's lead and ensuring a convincing victory over the Netherlands.
Van Domselaar made a crucial save to deny Russo a goal, with Beever-Jones making her major tournament debut as one of the five second-half substitutions made by the England manager.
