Harry Beautyman scores equalizer for Woking against Rochdale on his birthday

Harry Beautyman marked his 33rd birthday by scoring a late penalty to secure a 1-1 draw for struggling Woking against Rochdale, who are aiming for a spot in the play-offs in the National League.

Beautyman confidently placed the ball down the middle from the penalty spot with just three minutes remaining, ensuring that Neal Ardley's team stays three points clear of the relegation zone.

Rochdale had taken the lead in the 27th minute through Devante Rodney, who latched onto a pass from Ethan Ebanks-Landell, rounded Woking's goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen, and found the back of the net.

Despite coming close to doubling their lead before halftime with Kairo Mitchell hitting the post with a shot, Rochdale had to settle for a frustrating draw at the Laithwaite Community Stadium.
