Three goals in the second half, scored by David McGoldrick, Nick Tsaroulla, and Will Jarvis, led Notts County to a crucial 3-0 victory over MK Dons as they continue to push for promotion.
Following a strong first half performance, McGoldrick broke the deadlock in the 47th minute with a superb curling shot from outside the box that found the top corner of the net.
Tsaroulla extended the lead for the home side seven minutes later, finishing off a cross from Jarvis with a powerful strike at the back post.
Man of the match, Jarvis sealed the win in the 74th minute with a skillful shot into the far corner after cutting inside.
Earlier in the game, McGoldrick was denied by MK Dons' goalkeeper Connal Trueman, while Whitaker missed a close-range opportunity.
MK Dons' best chance came in the first half when Lemonheigh-Evans failed to hit the target from 18 yards out.
The victory elevated Notts County to fourth place in the table, just two points behind the automatic promotion spots.
